King Alfred visits Barbury

On a stunning day, Paul and I rode our next leg of King Alfred's Way, from All Cannings to Ashbury.
The colours were just fantastic, the clear giving fantastic views as we started beside the Kennet canal then travelled through Avebury, then mainly along the Ridgeway. Gravel roads were great; some single, rutty and slippery byways challenging. Another excellent way to get tired :-).
