The Bate Hall

As a teenager, I used to frequent this pub with my then boyfriend . Parts of it date back to 1525 and allegedly it’s the third most haunted pub in England. 
Oliver Cromwell was reputed to have stayed there.
I haven’t been in for many years. The couple outside were debating whether to go in but they walked off just after I took the photo.
