Flowers, chicken casserole & lemon drizzle cake.

H picked the lovely Dahlias from her garden before she was picked up by her son on Friday and which she gave to me together with some cooking apples. 
The slow cooked chicken casserole has been bubbling away since this morning and is for tonight's dinner and an apple crumble's in the oven.  I've been baking too! and
listening to Johnnie Walker's 'Sounds of the 70s' on Radio 2.  Due to ill health and after 58 years of broadcasting Johnnie is hanging up his headphones.  He's 79 and it's the end of yet another era.

Another lovely day.  Mr HB is away on a cloud somewhere and my good friend Rose popped in for a visit and a slice of the LD cake! Always lovely to see her.
