Home and Laundry

Took advantage of the extra hour and set the alarm for 4am. Over the Rest, through Glasgow and at the Cafe 66 for breakfast before 8. Home by 1:30 which was a good run but felt exhausted. Hit some chores and good to get things this end back in order. A letter from Argyll and Bute Council was ironically in our Essex postbox demanding immediate payment of a large amount of money. Here we go…we don’t have the same agreement with the council on what counts as a ‘second home’. My husband exudes calm and I try to calm myself with his ‘what is the worse that can happen ‘ attitude.
