Mincemeat…
… No added sugar.. Seems hardly different from ‘with added sugar’ to me. (Maybe it’s the brandy?). The proof will be in the eating (no pun intended). I haven’t made any for a few years. (We must invite Visitors to come. Come and eat pies!).

The car clock is right again! :-)
And this year I’m not stealing an hour of today back for any birthday celebrations. (Some years you have no choice… Because they whip an hour away from you, willy-nilly when they change the clocks in the Spring, without ever asking, ‘excuse me, but is this the very hour you were saving in order to light the candles on your birthday cake?’.
And sometimes it is.
And they don’t think to give it back.
I feel it’s only fair to salvage it, to finish the celebrations.
I haven’t painted for ages, I am very rusty, so did a little doodle. It’s not clever if you look closely but the colours cheered up the dark (and moody?) mincemeat.
