Nature's Medicine
It was such a beautiful clear sunny morning, so I thought a brisk walk to our local country park would be just the thing to clear the cobwebs. I left M at home recuperating further from his cold and headed off. I can walk there in about 20 minutes and so can leave the car at home.
My main blip is of a newly emerged fungi in the morning light on the bark of a fallen Silver Birch branch. Then I got a bit creative and took a double exposure of some other silver birch saplings in the sunshine. The other extra is a 'zoom burst ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photo of some beech leaves. Their leaves are beautiful as they seem to turn autumnal at different rates so that they display green yellow and orange leaves all at the same time.
Whilst I was taking these photos I hardly saw another soul and as well as the occasional call of birds my walk was accompanied by the sound of the church bells drifting across from the town...always a joy to hear.
