Autumn Colours

I managed to get out for a short walk around the village with my camera before we set off to collect our granddaughters. The early morning (8 am) sun was shining nicely on this group of beech trees.

Also got a nice close up of some leaves (not in the same trees) which were glowing in the sun..see extra.

Daughter was late home from her night shift..so we had to hang around for over an hour…as we needed the children’s car seats from her car to put into our car!

Long journey back due to roadworks on the A1, so it was lunchtime by the time we got back to our place.

This afternoon we went pumpkin picking at a local farm….some for Halloween carving..and plenty for soup. 

They (the girls) are currently occupied with the activities we bought yesterday!
