Peacock Butterfly
Well, when I went into the garden this afternoon the thing I really didn't epect to see perched on the fence was this beautiful butterfly - sorry to those who've already commented, as I felt it needed to be in my blip. Its the closest I've got to a butterfly without them flying off. This was definitely dopey. I tried to give it some water..
Then I planted a few crocus in the ground near the pansies and cyclamen I planted out yesterday in the hope squirrel doesn't dig them up.
Afterwards I've .cut the grass again - I really thought it might be too wet, but its good to get rid of the long stuff before winter really sets in.
Finally I've cleared nearly all the gaps between the patio by my back door of weeds and moss, followed by cutting back the budliea and the honeysuckle.
I probably won't be able to get out of bed in the morning but I'll shower tonight in the hope it will help!
just before I left for church this morning :)
Its a beautiful day, and I've just had lunch. Now I'm going to try planting some bulbs in a couple of pots and see if they come up :)
Then I;m going to play with watercolours....
Back to the grindstone in the office tomorrow. Just hoping I get a full night's sleep - as last night I was awake between 1am and 4am (luckily didn't need to get up before 7.30). Tomorrow I need to be up at 5.45am...
