Coalie Park autumn

The linear park along the Water of Leith, using the former railway paths, continues to develop. It's a much pleasanter experience to use it than it was when we first moved here nearly 20 years ago.

A Saturday together in Edinburgh was a treat. We walked down to the market intending to get baked goods and have a coffee. We ran into meles, so also enjoyed a coffee with her. Two other members of my School (at least) were there - so we had a quick chat. We picked up some bits and pieces suitable for a present for the man whose party we were attending in the evening.

In the afternoon, we popped across to the other supermarket, using the car as we had a lot of things to pick up.

In the evening, we used the car - again - to travel over to the south side to attend - rather briefly I'm afraid - a rather loud party for the husband of a colleague of mine. Two other old friends were there, having come up from England. That was nice. It was a while since we had both seen both P and E (I've seen P in the meantime, mainly through work, and I saw both P and E in May at P's inaugural). Home by ten, we had a drink and went to bed.
