The Meating

Meating = a gathering at our house for dinner with the main feature being a hearty meat dish cooked by me, the vegetarian ;-)
Today's offering was moroccan beef. The boys loved it.
There was also a nice salad and truffle cheese for starters.
And roast fennel with nutmeg, roast carrots with rosemary and saffron rice.
L made a pecan pie for pudding which we had with some homemade ice cream.
So, I can report that I was well fed too ;-)
The picture is looking out the window, admiring the spring leaves, whilst waiting for the food to be done.
