Heat seeking

A few years ago, I spent nine months living in a hut on a desert island in the Gulf, with no air conditioning, and only a herd of gazelles for neighbours. So now, no one ever says 'ooh, isn't it hot' in my presence for fear they'll get the 'Call this hot? I'll give you hot (etc)' speech.
