Living my dream

I love aquilegias. But I'm not so enthusiastic about how efficiently they seed themselves.

I introduced three plants to Chez Mima seven years ago. Now I hoik unwanted seedlings out of almost every part of the property each spring, especially from out of the paths and drive.

We got 56mm of rain yesterday which was the perfect amount to soak the soil some more and to keep everything growing vigorously.

The sun came out again this morning. I went in and out of it all day, making a Cheddar cheese and planting up the hanging baskets and other containers to take to K's garden on Tuesday.

During our walk we bumped into Wee Jock (no bagpipes today) and we had a lively conversation about the best recipe for oatcakes.

The extra is a picture F took of me on Friday...a rarity indeed!

All these small things make for an enjoyable life.

Thank you for all the lovely comments, the stars and the hearts for the last couple of Blips.
