A Very Fun Day!

This morning I took a workshop at The Leach Botanical Garden where I'll be serving on the Board starting in January. The workshop was called "Designing Woodland Centerpieces" and it was taught by Francoise Weeks who is an incredible designer and teacher. She brought an extraordinary assortment of plant material. I've taken floral design classes before, but this especially appealed to me since we used plant material that one can find in the woods, although one must responsibly forage or go to the flower market! I've never made something like this...utterly gorgeous!
