Yesterday, Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh passed at 84. We saw Phil and the Dead many times. I knew today I had to wear something of a Grateful Dead nature, so this t shirt.

Outside of the music that Phil combined on with his band mates, after his kidney transplant, he encouraged his crowds to register as donors. Those speeches were inspiring.

Phil sang the last song ever sung by the Grateful Dead on July 9, 1995, “Box of Rain” in Chicago. Rest in your music, Phil.
