Hometime
I took this photo shortly before we left our holiday cottage. It’s the view I’ve woken up to all week.
Despite being caught up in the worst storm I’ve witness, the weather hasn’t been too bad. The only wet day was the day after the storm hit and we were confined to barracks all day.
Our day in the Cuillins Hills was awesome, the Torridon day was, to say the least, epic and yesterday’s trip out to Glenelg took the breath away with the views and autumn colours.
Plockton is and always will be close to my heart; such a pretty village, being perfectly placed at the head of Loch Carron. We were lucky enough to visit before the storm broke as well.
All in all it’s been a great holiday with a great gal. Sal has helped me so much this past week.
I’m writing this in a hotel in Stirling, it’s back to Cumbria tomorrow and home on Tuesday.
