Five Sisters of Kintail

Definitely a day of two-halves, up on the hills today - as you can see from this snap of Glen Shiel, the conditions early this morning were absolutely stunning; and we gained the ridge in a mere 90-minutes ...

.... second half of the day could not have been more different: was very wet, and the wind really got up, too!

But we managed all 3 Munros on the ridge, coming off after the last top, to escape the challenging conditions. Still a very long day - even needed our head-torches for the final section of track  back to the car :-)

And today took my walking partner 'M', to over 200 Munros ... a mere 80 to go, for him, now :-))
