Making Tracks

It’s Wednesday, and I’m supervising in the main office this morning, which is always more sociable and sometimes even fun. Everyone seems less tired and jaded than yesterday, including me. I ordered coffee and hot sausage rolls from Greggs for everyone and was reliably informed that this was excellent for staff morale! The afternoon was very quiet indeed, and we soon had all the work done so I could escape home much earlier than usual. I drove home along the country lanes on a fine sunny afternoon—the weather has improved. I pulled next to a wide-open field to take this shot of the prominent tractor trails highlighted by the contrasty low afternoon sun.
