Essex Day

I read on X that today is St Cedd's Day - The County Day of Essex. Being a proud Essex old girl I would have liked to have visited St Cedd's chapel of St Peter-on-the-wall at Bradwell-on-Sea. I love it there and haven't been recently. Unfortunately MrQ had an afternoon appointment for a scan at the hospital eye unit. It has taken me all day and half the night to prepare him for it. :(

The buzzard has taken to perching on the northerly boiler house chimney. I got some shots but hope to better them. I've blipped the collared dove as I like its pose on the aluminium glasshouse ridge.
