Its the Way It Is

By Jeano

Early morning at 8.30am

Slightly later than my usual time.

This was my view as a golden sun lit up the sky. And 12 swans flew over us from Bray Harbour to Bray Head. It was a lovely sight.

Acting class today. 3 hours of hi intensity self expression and abandonment of inhibitions and self consciousness. I was given the role of a mother visiting her son in prison. I had been a bad, uncaring mother and was hoping for forgiveness from my son but he rejected me. My son was played by fellow student from Brazil who is a delightful engaging young man. It was an explosive and sad encounter.

I had a yearning for fish and chips after the class and headed towards the originally named Capri Cafe opposite the train station (are those not the most obvious red flags). Fresh chips and a big lump of cod in a light crispy batter. Yummy.

I’m now exhausted and watching Dara O’Briain sprouting on about the pyramids on channel 5 (did you know he is from Bray? No I thought not).

Feet up now. Had a great day. Glad to be home in my cozy nest.
