Sad News

Had a phone call from a long standing customer and friend this morning.He rang from hospital and wanted to let us know that he has been given three months to live.I have known Tommy for over thirty years.It was a tough conversation.He has another week in hospital and I will go and see him when he is home.Getting fed up with friends dying.The news has knocked the wind out of my sails.

On the nursery I have finished getting the first tunnel ready for pansies.Helen and I have run the first plants through the transplanter and we are all set for tomorrow.

With the advent of some new bird viruses I am cleaning out the feeders on a rotational basis using a bleach and washing up liquid solution.I leave them to soak overnight and then rinse thoroughly in clean water.

Becky has come for tea and to watch the dancing.
