One forward, two back

Today was earmarked for getting our living room back to normal now the carpet is down. It all started well, moving furniture into place and getting the TV boxes set up again. I noticed a couple of marks where the carpet had scuffed the wall. On further inspection there were another few a bit higher up the wall which were easily seen when the angle was right. After several attempts to patch these areas up I was left with a halo effect which I couldn't get rid of. A quick online search and a click and collect purchase and himself was off to collect another tin of paint. I've just finished painting the two feature walls and pushed the furniture back into place so I'm pretty much back to where I started this morning. Except for two tiny bits of wall paint on the white ceiling - argh! Almost time for a G&T methinks.
