Skylark in Flight

We've had a relaxing day catching up with chores in the garden.
I noticed these birds passing by several times so went to fetch my camera & managed to get a few shots. When I zoomed in on the back of the camera I could see it was a skylark.  We hear skylarks all summer but at this time of year it goes quiet so it's good to know they are still around.
J mowed the lawn & I pruned the rambling rose on the back of the house & cut back the buddleia for the winter.  It's been a warm & sunny day with no wind which makes a change.
