Watersmeet
A lovely day weather wise. Sue and another lady member of the camera club came to pick me up this morning. We headed out up over Exmoor to the National Trust site of Watersmeet, where the East Lyn and Hoar Oak Water meet on their way down to Lynmouth. There was plenty of water after the recent rains.
After a photo session we retired to the cafe for a coffee before heading off over Exmoor. Where we hoped to see Exmoor ponies, highland cattle or deer. Stopping on route for some lunch. We saw plenty of sheep. The hunt was out as we saw plenty of horse boxes. Spotted some ponies but no cattle, other than I think Devon reds. Then we saw some deer in the distance too far away. Then on the return route we found some more. Of course did not have the right lens, or even the extenders for the one I was using. But have included a snap in the extra. All in all a lovely day in good company :-)
Strictly on this evening, so off to prepare a quick meal before it starts. Have a good evening :-)
