Fisherman on the South Pier
It's been a really beautiful day. The wind is much calmer than yesterday and it felt quite warm strolling around the harbour this afternoon. I used my telephoto lens to take the photo of the young fisherman at the end of the South Pier, then I looked around for other subjects. There was a little flock of turnstones. They were scurrying busily along the harbour wall and on the tarmac of the car park. I managed some individual shots but getting the flock was too difficult because they were constantly moving in opposite directions.
