The Corner

Wandered down to Stockbridge for some essentials (prescription, library books, milk, Scotch pie) and couldn’t believe how many tourists were mooching about. I mean, Edinburgh weather in late October is hardly a great draw - although FerginCasentino may disagree.
The upshot was me phoning The Tiq to book a table. S fancied eating there before the Friday night crew arrived and just as well I did phone because the place was heaving - which meant it was loud, we could hardly hear JacktheLad’s quiz questions. Not that that mattered a lot of the time!
