thistle

While trying to capture a good blip of circular hay bales , I decided to grab a quick snap of this thistle. It was blowing round in the wind, so focus was dubious. Also, I didn't notice the insect [a grasshopper?] giving me the beady eye from behind the lustrous purple bloom.
