Preparing For Christmas

Do you know how long it takes to pick over 1lb 10oz of dried fruit? All day, give it take an hour or so each for lunch and preparing braised steak for tea.

But here it is with it's dousing of strong alcohol to steep a few days before final construction. Wouldn't it be nice if the shops sold fruit without any stalks?
