Thursday: The Big Reveal

Well, I will put you out of your misery.  

After a relatively comfortable flight we landed back in…….the UK.  Yes, dear blip family, after 12 consecutive years away and, in my case, 25 of the last 35 years spent abroad, we’ve moved back home to London.

We arrived back at our house early afternoon.  There was a contractor in doing a few jobs which were necessary after our tenants moved out.  The estate agent also popped by to cover a few things.  

The house is looking very tired after 12 years of being rented out and we have quite a bit to do to get it up to scratch.  We also have nothing, other than an airbed.  

Given we have no food, utensils etc, we had no option but to get the bus to Richmond for a couple of celebratory drinks at the ‘Tap Tavern’.  A Chinese takeaway on the way sorted us out for dinner.

We could not be happier to be home. Barney will follow on tomorrow.
