A day in the life

Social day

It's been a rare, social day. Quite a contrast to most days I've been invited to two meals, one at lunch as a thank you for the re-mixing of a recording I did a couple of days ago and, a meal in the evening when old friends invited me to a film evening, including a meal. I'm not used to eating good, cooked food twice a day and will probably find it difficult to sleep tonight, also because the meal in the evening included wine and good beer, plus a good, seeworthy film called "Lee", about a female photographer during second world war. Her photos from one of the concentration-camps after the war had been lost and a photo from when she's taking a bath in Hitlers bathtub after he was found dead in the bunker are classic, if you're into that sort of thing. Her life and work was completely unknown to me but the film, featuring Kate Winslet, is very strong.

I know it's a poor blip but I suddenly realised I had no photos from today and took one just before breaking up from the film-evening.

I wish you a good night and a great weekend from a not completely sober bliper.
