Our village

A short stroll in the sunshine this afternoon . Good yo see blue skies after the rain - they’ve had so much down here . The Pud Brook is flowing fast and is high .
Lots of egrets about as well - they have really settled here .

A win with exchanging my mattress with John Lewis and I have 20% less to pay too .

Unfortunately , my MIL has a toe with an open ulcer and it keeps bleeding but today it looked red too . We just managed to see a Nurse before the surgery closed and she gave her some antibiotics but helping Ann in to the car is still a nightmare .It’s a 6 week wait for the ulcer clinic which is ridiculous when it’s so sore ! No one is visiting my MIL to check her and even the occupational therapist has disappeared since she found out Ann was suffering with a broken vertebra not a bad back !! It’s really frightening how on its knees the NHS is . :(
