The Barrage

Late morning I arrived at my dad's in Penarth (Vale of Glamorgan) nr Cardiff to spend some time with him even though we 'video call' most days.

Just opposite him is Cardiff Bay, and with the sun out I took the opportunity to take a photograph of Cardiff Bay Yachts with the Barrage beyond leading out to the Severn Estuary. A couple of times in the last week or so I've been In Weston Super Mare and Clevedon on the English coast looking towards the barrage - a magnificent feat of engineering taking five years to build and finished in 1999
