Lisianthus

It has been miserably grey all day, and it started raining around midday. I did some grocery shopping this morning, and then spent time this afternoon ordering things for Christmas - I have ordered the Christmas tree from our local Scout group, and did a bit more shopping of presents. 

With the rainy conditions I did not feel inclined to take photos outside so this is an indoor shot of my lisianthus flowers, they are a week old now but still looking fine I think.

Tommy has just arrived home from spending the week in Cornwall with Inca, and he now has to pack up for his move to Germany tomorrow.  We are having a final dinner with him tonight, I have ordered sushi from a company that delivers to a collection point (which conveniently is our local deli so we could walk up and collect it). Tommy has always loved sushi since he was about two years old, yes strange tastes for a toddler but when we holidayed in South Africa there were so many inexpensive fish restaurants there that served sushi, so he got to experience it then. It therefore seemed befitting that his special farewell dinner tonight should be sushi.
