Abstract Thursday ...

... moody.

First ... I would like to thank you all for the well wishes yesterday.  The pain was more tolerable today ... although not completely gone.  I realize I'm only two days out from the surgery but I can be a bit impatient when it comes to healing!  

We were able to get out again this afternoon ... going to Housenick Memorial Park.  Many of the trees are showing their full Autumn colors ... which is simply lovely.  I took some straight up shots and then played around in Topaz Studio for a more "moody" feel.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday each week.

After supper I was able to take off the bandage ... per doctor's orders.  I'm now to do daily cleaning of the incision and then simply cover with a normal band-aid.  And, of course, I took pictures of the incision before putting on the band-aid ... but I will spare you the graphic photo!  It actually doesn't look that bad.
