Birds flying high
Yesterday we decided to cycle to Eindhoven via the Lf7. The Lf7 stands for long-distance cycle route number 7. Now it turns out that the direction signs of most Lf routes are no longer there, because of a nationwide network of junction routes, LF routes no longer need to form a network. You can create a route via junctions. You only need an app on a smartphone on which you can navigate. I tried to download the old route via junctions as an gpx file, but that was either impossible or cumbersome. Beside that, I don't want such a route on my mobile phone because it will soon be empty after 100 kilometers of navigation. No, I don't have electricity on the bike. I took the numbers of the junctions with me in an old-fashioned way; a long list on a piece of paper.
There are also many signs with district maps at numbered junctions. Incase one gets lost.
After returning home we were surprised by the many cranes flying over.
Tomorrow autumn begins.
