Funeral

Picked up my mother at 5am and we both caught the red eye flight from EDI to BHX for a funeral of a dear old friend of the family for over 60 years.

I had a hire car booked and we made our way to the crematorium at Rowley Regis but first we headed to the family home.

A humbling experience and nice to see so many familiar faces of our extended family/friend circle from Birmingham area.

We will catch the 20:40 flight back to EDI this evening.
