candles at the cathedral

Today's family-day-out-where-dogs-can't-go was a canal boat ride in Chichester followed by a walk round the cathedral. The boat trip was pleasant but I couldn't help think how much Peanut would have barked and tried to chase the ducks. It made me giggle a bit imagining him capsizing the boat rushing from side to side.

The cathedral was stunning, not easy to capture a good shot with the oversized dimensions. The cool of the building was most welcome after the stuffiness of the boat's cabin. The restoration work was impressive and we all enjoyed the sense of history. We each lit a candle for our family past and present.
