Dark and Moody

I looked for a Moody Abstract and found the harsh stripes and dark color tones, as the strange light in the dark background added to the moodiness of this shot.  

I visited with my son, Ellie's Grandpa, this afternoon, he heard from the Urolist Surgery about the next steps to deal with the large stone still showing up today on an MRI. Remember, the surgeon couldn't remove it during his recent surgery, but now he says he knows how to break it up or completely remove it. Mike is worried about doing basic the same surgery and he is now experiencing more pain. His wife is sick today with a bad cold and his daughter told me that she needs to have hernia surgery. Ellie went to the doctor yesterday with neck,  arm, and back pain, but the doctor said he thought she slept on it wrong. He gave her Motrin and explained to her the best way to sleep. She seemed to be doing okay today at swim lessons. Her progress is slow which is mostly because of her fear and quick panic response when she feels she is sinking; she doesn't trust that she will float if she relaxes. We are trying to be patient with some tough love ... but the teacher will not let go so she will "sink or swim"...I think that is how I learned to swim.  :-))
