A Break in the Sky

Was in the west for a meeting today - had to talk over the rain hammering against the windows as well as the booms of thunder. Although I had my back to the windows I was still very aware of the bright flashes of lightening. Back in the east it was calmer and when I went out for a short walk a little while ago it was very close and the clouds were coming together and looking very gloomy. And then a break in the sky - just long enough for me to snap.
