Course day
Up early for a long drive to my course again. It isn't inspiring as courses go but it is good to meet other people who are interested in drawing. Today we were supposed to be using a rubber to draw and add movement to our pictures but my image didn't lend itself to being rubbed much (according to the tutor) It is still a luxury to draw for two hours with no interruption other than coffee and cake in the middle.
The drive there was beautiful. It helped that I was wearing my cheap Sainsbury's dark glasses I bought in an emergency this summer. They appear to tint everything pink so any yellowing tree seemed to take on a beautiful golden glow so I thoroughly enjoyed the enhanced autumn colouring! Without them the world was much more drab!
Need to cook an early supper as one of us is out bagpiping this evening.. and it isn't me!
