Tackle by Merrick

I wanted to stay in bed with the man cold, but I didn't want to miss Merrick's last football game of the season. So, I bundled up and went with Grandma Lisa to the game.

In this picture, you can't see his number, but he is the guy in black on his knees making the tackle.

How did the game go? I would love to report that his Linden Eagles won their first game, but it was not to be. We lost 32-6, giving us a season record of 0-5.

Merrick was down and disappointed, but there is always next year.
