Well that’s not a normal Wednesday night

The last football match I went to was pre-Blip….I looked and I think it must have been 2006, Parma vs Roma, all standing, flares going off and some proper scuffles. I seem to remember it was quite a good game, well at least to the football expert that I clearly am!

This match was equally good, I am reliably told it was excellent, I say reliably as I was accompanied by KT’s uncle, a lifelong Man City fan.  I’d won two tickets for UEFA Champions League group matches (no travel, otherwise the photo may have been from Milan, Madrid or Barcelona!) and thankfully one half of Manchester had qualified.  So 90 mins of frankly thrilling football vs Sparta Praha, the Czech champions.  

I may not leave it as long between matches, however getting home at 1 am means I may need to find a game slightly closer to home next time!
