2,500 Blips

It's been over six years—I cannot believe it. So I went back as far as I could to the beginning to see what had changed. Sure, the Leica lens is a world-beater, and my post-processing is much better. I think some of my early photos were much better than the rather 'flat' images I'm doing now. I mean, how many 'Rustic Doors' can you photograph? Going forward, I will try to achieve more depth, even if it means skipping a day.

I would be remorseful for not acknowledging the kindness of my 'extended family.'  I now feel comforted by exotic places like Norway, the UK, and Australia—places I have not visited but hope to one day. I have seen butterflies, birds, motorcycles, and rusted machinery—but mostly, I have felt the comfort that rarely comes around in this hostile age.

So, I go forward, learn from my mistakes, and hope to find that elusive perfect photo. Thank you.

Steve
