Spicy

One of the nice things about autumn is that it seems to be the main season of visibility for caddisflies - they're everywhere in the garden at the moment, loved up or just lounging around, but always toning beautifully with the turning leaves. This one, I think, is Limnephilus lunatus, the Cinnamon Sedge, though I didn't manage to achieve the best angle for identification. Before I go, I must say thank you for the kind response to yesterday's Ten Snipe to Watch in 2025 - it was all the more gratifying because I hadn't expected that image to be so popular.
