Glorious Youth

Walking on the Exeter City Canal today. It was another fine autumn day. Good to be alive. There was a constant stream of rowers from the university, in eights, fours, and pairs. The day had a magical air about it. Outside the Turf Inn a kingfisher appeared for us, and in the fields near Powderham there were cattle egrets.
