Eight years blipping

although I started over 9 years ago.
I asked our farmer neighbour if I could borrow some number 8 wire so I could fashion an "8" for today's photo. When I told him why I wanted it he suggested I photograph his cow that has an "8" ear tag.  The only problem was it runs in a herd with 500 other cows. He had an app on his phone that told him its date of birth, its pedigree, how much milk it produced this morning, and which paddock it was in so we went looking. We weren't that hopeful she would be found but fortunately for me, she is a curious cow and having two humans wandering in the paddock piqued her curiosity enough for her to come and check us out.  It took less than 5 minutes to get a photo.
