Staveley

A gleam of sunshine and the promise of leaping salmon took us to Staveley this afternoon. We found a few wax cap fungi in some of the pastures, and had a good walk through Craggy Wood. You can see where trees have been planted to link through to Dorothy Farrers Spring Wood, a work in progress.
Back along the river, but alas no leaping salmon…. I don’t think I will ever see them!
