A successful and satisfying day:
- Bertie walked
- marrow (giant courgette actually) delivered
- 80th birthday card and present delivered
- shopping done 
- ready in time for lunch at Calgary with friend
- inside of car cleaned for trip to Oban tomorrow
- helped Nick with tree felling (just held a rope)
- Bertie walked again
- managed to rearrange a suitable ferry time when our original ferry booking was cancelled.
- early to bed in preparation for early rise in the morning (well before crack of sparrows!) Phew!
