Beyond terminal

The demolition of the northern end of the Ocean Terminal mall (opened in 2001) is well underway now. It'll soon be replaced by housing I think.

The building has been slowly declining and emptying out over the last decade at least. To be honest I only really used to go as there was/is a cinema there - never too busy, cheap and with reclining chairs! Not sure if it's staying but I hope so as the next nearest one at the top of Leith Walk is horrid.

What a waste. I hope they're salvaging and recycling at least some of the materials but there was a huge pile of crushed plasterboard and other debris sitting out unprotected so who knows.
