Le Chat
Time for Cheese and Wine evening again (how does it roll around so quickly?!) so Jen and I spent the day in preparation. Making food, snacks and the like for twenty-two people (and more!) is a bit of a stress every week! However, we get to keep any profit that we do make which is great. So after Kids Club (again at the pool) we headed off to the supermarket to do our usual trolley dash to get ingredients, wine and cheese before going back for lunch on-site. So Kids Club was great fun, and the children were as adorable as ever, and we both felt that we knew a little better what we were doing and things worked very well!
Our afternoon was spent chopping, joined very kindly by Jen's sister Heather. We had a little time to go to the pool but soon had to head up to start the cooking. The evening itself was really fun and everyone got on really well...was really nice to be able have a chat with some of the new families, and spend time with the old ones.
All of this does not explain why I have a photograph of a cat. So upon clearing up cheese and wine, I got accosted by a very friendly cat, which followed me up back to our house and proceeded to demand cuddles and didn't seem to mind me taking photographs of it with the flash on. Jen said it was ugly, but I think it is quite cute!
