Walking Down…
…to Whistling Sands.
A great walk along the beach in this pretty cove.
The sands are reputed to whistle when the wind blows in a certain direction. In all my visits, including today l haven’t heard them.
The dogs loved it, Peggy not keen to go in the sea but Ronnie loves chasing the waves.
We did intend to go up onto the headland and do a coastal walk but it was too slippy for me so Rebecca and l went back to the car and Tim and Adele tried it on their own.
We agreed to rendezvous on the south side of the peninsula and have lunch at the gallery in Llanbedrog where my favourite cafe is.
Had a quick walk on the beach there too before the others arrived. They had abandoned their early walk because they too found it slippy underfoot.
Had a ginormous slice of the lemon meringue pie , delicious, good job l only have the opportunity to eat it once a year.
